How to issue your e-VAT invoice at the hometax

1. Method of issuing a tax invoice through Hometax

a. Join and log in to Hometax at http://www.hometax.go.kr/

b. Register a certificate

- Navigate to Hometax > [Certification Center] > Register Certificate

c. Inquiry/Issue

- Go to Hometax > [Inquiry/Issue]

- Then, Hometax > [Inquiry/Issue] > [Electronic Tax Invoice-Issue] > [Individual Issue]

- For a general electronic tax invoice

- Enter the information of the supplier and the recipient, as well as the transaction amount. If you wish to issue an invoice with a zero-rate tax or other specific tax rates, you can select the appropriate rate in the top left corner under [Type].

- Choose between Claim/Receipt

- If you have already received the payment, select Receipt. If the payment is yet to be received, select Claim. Then, click on [Issue] to proceed.
